We are currently hiring for a Receiver/Reach Operator in the Concord area

Position: Receiver
Location: Concord, ON
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using RF scanners for inventory management and hold a valid Reach Truck forklift certification. This role involves receiving, inspecting, and accurately processing incoming shipments to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and quantity using RF scanners
Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing lists, documenting discrepancies
Pick and Pack orders with accuracy
Safely operate Reach Truck forklift to move and store goods within the warehouse
Accurately scan and enter product information into inventory management systems
Ensure proper labeling, sorting, and storage of received items according to company procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area
Communicate effectively with warehouse team members and management regarding shipment status and inventory issues
Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as required
Follow all safety policies and procedures, including safe forklift operation and material handling
Qualifications:
Proven experience using RF scanners in a warehouse or receiving environment
Valid Reach Truck forklift certification and demonstrated safe operation skills
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Basic computer skills for inventory systems and data entry
Prior warehouse or receiving experience preferred
Reliable and dependable with a drive for success
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
Capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs safely
