As a Receiver you will be responsible for operating an overhead crane, breaking crates, completing necessary receiving paperwork, and contributing to a safe team environment.



Duties and Responsibilities

Understand and maintain current and accurate inventory information. Conduct accurate and timely inventory counts. Accurately label incoming inventory. Complete documentation accurately when receiving glass. Use five tonne overhead cranes to move glass packs. Operate forklift, as required. Provide positive client support and assistance. Notify management of any deviations in product quality, or other roadblocks, and implement corrective actions as directed. Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless operations. Ensure all operations are performed in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), company safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); encourage a culture of safety on the production floor. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following housekeeping standards to promote safety and efficiency. Comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all aspects of the job. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support overall production goals and operational needs.

Required Qualifications

Current drivers licence Good communication skills to interact with team members and management. Ability to stand throughout entirety of shift. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and throughout entirety of shift. Ability to perform repetitive tasks, in a continuous manner, in a fast paced environment including lifting and extending arms through entirety of shift. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Strong dedication to ensuring quality and efficiency in all tasks. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the glass or window manufacturing or fabrication industry is an asset.
