Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Full-Time Receiver to join our team at Alpine Drug Mart in Rocky Mountain House, AB.
Store hours:
Mon - Fri 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Sat 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Sun closed
Availability:
opening and closing shifts, weekends
Responsibilities
Coordinating the receiving, shipping, price ticketing and paperwork for all incoming and outgoing shipments following store policies and procedures
Utilize and maintain the receiving register, receiving stamp, and in store requisitions. Coordinate inter store transfers where necessary
Check off, check expiry dates, and mark all orders using correct store procedures
Ensure all products requiring ticketing display the correct cost, date, and retail and tickets are correctly placed
Follow store pricing policy and use proper retail math calculations
Maintain files for purchase orders and claim forms, in cooperation with the Front Store Manager
Check all invoices and/or packing slips against purchase orders prior to approval, as delegated by the Front Store Manager. Claim and discrepancies in cost, quantities or terms. Attach claim to paper work and forward as directed by Management
Communicate order/supply variances (such as Manufacturer's shortage, discounted product, out-of-stocks) to the Front Store Manager
Keeping the stockroom clean, tidy and organized
Ensure all store training is completed within required time frames
Maintain a professional image, including complete uniform, name tag, and proper grooming
Follow all store opening and closing procedures
Operate cash register according to store policy, verifying customer purchases and issuing receipts
Assist with customer inquiries and call for assistance when needed
Ensure staff and customer safety by addressing or reporting potential barriers or hazards on store property
Communicate to Management any issues requiring follow up or needing attention
Qualifications
Retail experience including purchasing and receiving, cashiering, product and supplier knowledge a definite asset
Familiarity with retail math and general computer applications
Possess strong POS skills
Possess strong organizational skills
Demonstrate attention to detail
Familiar with work place Health and Safety rules and regulations
Possess a positive, cooperative, and team-oriented attitude
Complete all in store training as outlined by store management
