Job Description

Trillium Architectural Products supplies doors, hardware and security products for construction projects. We have a fantastic team atmosphere and offer excellent pay and benefits.

We are hiring a Receiver to inspect and doors and frames when they arrive in our warehouse. This is a critical step in our overall quality control process. The Applicant must have exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

Training and guidance will be provided by hands-on colleagues and managers.

Candidates with experience in the Door and Hardware industry or in Quality Assurance/Quality Control are preferred.

Responsibilities:

Inspect and measure steel/wood doors and frames that arrive in our warehouse. Review quantities, condition of material and other important details to ensure the items we received match our Purchase Orders and detail sheets. Identify and document material that is fabricated incorrectly or requires modification. Communicate effectively, both verbally and by email, with vendors and internal teams (Shipping, Purchasing, Detailing, Project Management). Accurately tag and number doors and frames with the correct product codes. Follow all safety protocols in the warehouse. Assist in loading and unloading deliveries. Track and process shipments through Trillium's software system. Work quickly and efficiently at all times while maintaining accuracy, even when faced with high work volumes. Flexibility to work under pressure and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Applicants with previous door industry or building material experience are strongly preferred.

Educational background in architecture, engineering, electronics or similar area is an advantage

Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail is required at all times Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Physically fit and able to handle/lift loads up to 75 lbs. Good computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
