Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RECE for Supply/Support work at Bayview Gardens Child Care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to engage with children of various ages, and a willingness to support their developmental needs. Duties

Supervise and ensure the safety of children in your care at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Provide support for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a clean and organized childcare space conducive to learning and play. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience. Document children's progress through written reports and observations. Utilize time management skills to balance multiple tasks effectively while maintaining quality care.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Background in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Demonstrated leadership abilities and classroom experience. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently. Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes. A nurturing attitude towards children along with the ability to teach and engage them in learning activities. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also taking initiative when necessary.
