We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure a productive and positive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to leadership, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for both staff and children.
Duties
Supervise and support staff in their daily responsibilities, ensuring adherence to educational standards and practices.
Educate and mentor team members on best practices in early childhood education.
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children to foster a collaborative environment.
Implement classroom activities that promote learning and development for children.
Be the primary point of contact for the director, family, and staff for the day-to-day operation of the program.
Manage time efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed within designated timelines.
Training of new staff to meet the highest quality standards and ensure growth
Assisting the classroom educators with any routines or needs of children, when necessary, i.e., diapering, rest/nap periods, transitions, etc.
Training of staff, assisting teachers with program planning and ensuring classrooms meet or exceed licensing requirements
Utilize computer operation skills to maintain records, schedules, and reports related to classroom activities.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate working persons with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
Monitor classroom dynamics and provide feedback to enhance educational experiences.
Qualifications
3 years of proven experience in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
Must be able to legally work in Canada
Strong computer operation skills with the ability to use various software programs for documentation and reporting.
Current RECE and member in good standing in the College of Early Childhood Educators, Ontario
Clear/no relevant information from a Vulnerable Sector Check (current within 3 months)
Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people.
Familiarity with French language skills is a plus but not required.
A commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all students, including those with disabilities.

Ability to lead a team of 14 staff, ability to schedule, oversee and maintain
