We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RECE to join our team at Stouffville Village Child Care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. This role involves engaging with children in various activities, ensuring their well-being, and supporting their developmental needs.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with children during playtime and structured activities. Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Provide care for children, including assisting with meals, hygiene, and daily routines. Maintain a safe and clean environment for all children in your care. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with other childcare staff to ensure a cohesive approach to child development. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.

Skills

Classroom experience is highly desirable to facilitate effective learning environments. Experience working with people with disabilities to provide inclusive care. Strong teaching skills to guide children's learning experiences. Background in early childhood education to support developmental milestones. Proven experience with children in various settings, demonstrating patience and understanding. Caregiving skills that reflect compassion, responsibility, and attention to detail.
