Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team. . This role requires the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents. The candidate must also be flexible with hours, and must be willing to work co-operatively with the other team members.

Responsibilities

Assisting staff at lunch time. Relieving staff for lunch breaks. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity. Supervise and interact with children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Quick clean-up of afternoon snack dishes. Assist staff with daily tasks in the rooms. Organize classroom materials and resources to ensure an efficient learning environment. Must be fluent with the ELECT Document and observations.

Requirements

Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. Familiarity with classroom management techniques. Ability to write clear reports and documentation related to children's development and classroom activities. Ability to be on the children's level physically to engage and nurture the children. Flexibility in scheduling is a must as this position requires occasionally being here for a full day to fill in for staff when they are away.
