Established in 1990, Bradford Progress Childcare Centres has grown to include four full-service daycare locations and 11 on-site before-and-after school programs in Bradford and the surrounding area. With our exciting growth, we are adding a second Program Manager position to our Executive and Administration team. We are looking for an individual who can grow and adapt with our organization, continuing to build our culture of open communication and support for our teams delivering exceptional childcare.
ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the Assistant Executive Director, the Program Manager oversees operations of several of our Before and After School Program sites and or Child Care Centres. This role leads and supports each site's Supervisors to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality childcare and early learning. In addition, this role contributes to the overall organization's supportive functions, including human resources and financial processes.
The Program Manager role is a full-time position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
People Leadership: Guides, coaches, and supports Supervisors at several Before and After School Program sites and or Child Care Centres to meet their goals.
Operations Leadership: Supports Supervisors with communication and service delivery at Before and After School Program sites and Child Cares, ensuring that resources are managed effectively and services provide maximum benefits to children and families.
Program and Policy Development: Support the management team with recommendations for effective programming and clear policies to meet requirements and community needs.
Human Resources Administration: Coordinates people processes across the organization, such as recruitment, orientation, and criminal reference checks, to maintain compliance and build strong teams for high-quality service.
Organizational Administration: Supports administration for smooth operations across the organization, such as financial administration and facilities management.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Commitment to the mission of supporting families and offering exceptional programs with supportive leadership and integrity
Leadership skills, typically gained from a minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
Minimum diploma or equivalent experience in early childhood education or a related field
Knowledge of early childhood education requirements, including the Child Care Early Years Act 2014, and effective program delivery, preferably from experience as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) and Supervisor
Strong initiative and commitment to continuous learning
Ability to build trusting relationships and support others with open and honest communication
Ability to effectively manage conflict and difficult situations
Skills to manage multiple demands and adapt to changing needs
Critical thinking and decision-making skills
Financial acumen, such as billing and reconciliation
Attention to detail and quality assurance
Digital literacy, such as the ability to use and learn MS Word, Excel, Google Workspace, and Sage accounting software
Current Standard First Aid, Infant Child CPR Certificate, and Vulnerable Sector Screening
Assets for this role include experience or education in human resources, employee relations, bookkeeping, accounting, or facilities management, and registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators is manadatory
WORKING CONDITIONS
Due to responsibilities of the role and organization, there may be occasional need to work outside standard operational hours.
As this role oversees multiple sites, there will be occasional travel within the area.
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting.
The compensation offer will be competitive and dependent on the experience and expertise of the successful candidate.
