Overview

Our Real Property & Workplace services (RPWS) team is responsible for real estate, space planning, building operations and infrastructure, project management, sustainability, risk management, and workplace services to all our offices throughout the province. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a self-driven contributor with financial acumen, analytical skills and commercial real estate management experience to join our team as a RPWS Analyst.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be a team member of an integral unit in our RPWS team that manages and maintains our owned and leased properties and assets throughout the province, in consideration of our long-term strategy.

How you\xe2\x80\x99ll make a difference: As a RPWS Analyst, you\xe2\x80\x99ll use your financial analysis, accounting, and commercial real estate/property management experience to deliver business intelligence and maintain an effective and efficient operation.

At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.

In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work in our Richmond office 3 days a week and from your B.C. home 2 day a week.

What you\'ll do

  • Provide analysis of our portfolio strategy, business objectives, and performance
  • Be responsible for all aspects of commercial real estate/property management
  • Research, negotiate, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and manage budgets and projects investments
  • Provide financial analysis, reporting, and administration
  • Develop and deliver internal controls and provide quality assurance
  • Support the teams by researching and collating technical information

Your background and experience

Grade 12, completion of a certified property manager designation or equivalent and 27 \xe2\x80\x93 36 months (real time) of related experience in commercial property management with strong Financial Analysis and Data Analytics experience.
