Job Description


The Research Associate will be responsible for providing technical support to the Development & Acquisitions team, conducting primary and secondary research and producing reports for the purpose of helping the organization grow and sustain our business. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to collect market research data to develop interpretations and graphics indicating market trends to assist with written market reports

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertake web, phone, and literary research collecting data that the business can trust as a source for market intelligence without material dependence on third party data sources.
  • Assist in conducting research and prepare data and background narrative
  • The ability to translate data into written reports and presentations to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Perform periodic data audits to ensure that the quantity, accuracy, and quality of our data is top notch.
  • Provide research findings to assist with reports, business cases, and deliverables to managers and executives for analysis.
  • Provide quantitative data and data visualization for use in data-based decision making.
  • Research existing data collections, compilations, and/or reporting methodologies
  • Assist with data collection for quarterly market reports
  • Preparing proposals to support the Development & Acquisitions team
  • Continually track and update identified research metrics to the internal company database
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum one year of experience in research, market analysis or related role
  • Strong research skills with a desire to learn
  • Proficiency in mapping/GIS software
  • Proficiency on the phone
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word & Excel)
  • Proficient with web and literature searches and synthesizing data.
  • Experience in using databases to do research/provide information.
  • Experience in using electronic document/records repositories.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-orientated, organized, reliable, highly productive, and capable of handling multiple projects at a time.
