Tapper Cuddy LLP is a full-service law firm (based in Winnipeg, Manitoba) that helps individuals and business owners get the legal support they need and results they're looking for in litigation, business law, family law and 20 other areas of practice. To continue to achieve a high level of service, we are looking to add a Real Estate Paralegal to our team.

Responsibilities

:



Draft, edit, proofread and/or format all legal documents for a transaction such as: Transfers of Land, Orders to Pay, Declarations, etc. Communicate with stakeholders to request mortgage advances, payouts, water accounts, etc. Track deadlines using calendars and software Generate and process client invoices Perform other administrative tasks to support the lawyers and/or department

Skills & Qualifications:



Exceptional Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and deliver work with a high level of attention to detail. Self-motivated and efficient in a fast-paced environment. Strong Communication Abilities: Clear and professional verbal and written communication with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. Technologically Proficient: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and other relevant software tools. Customer Service Oriented: Demonstrated ability to provide professional, responsive service to internal and external stakeholders. Professionalism and Discretion: Strong understanding of confidentiality and the handling of sensitive information. Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a professional office or customer service environment is preferred. Experience with ActionStep & Unity is an asset. Education: A Legal Assistant Certificate from an accredited college is an asset but not required. Candidates with completed post-secondary education from an accredited college or university will also be considered.

We offer a competitive salary that reflects the experience and qualifications of our candidates. The anticipated starting salary for this position is $60,000/year.
