& Responsibilities:

Real Estate Paralegal

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal to work on a diverse range of commercial property transactions in a collaborative and professional environment.

Duties:

Manage client files from opening to closing, including conflict searches and client identification Conduct Land Title and BC Online searches and perform due diligence Communicate with clients, lawyers, brokers, lenders, and other stakeholders Prepare documentation for acquisitions, sales, financing, and development of commercial properties Review and analyze title encumbrances and prepare instruments for covenants and easements Prepare and maintain transaction summaries, closing agendas, and key date diaries Handle trust-related documentation, payouts, and internal trust records Draft correspondence and finalize reporting letters Prepare billing and invoicing at transaction completion Provide general administrative and transactional support as needed

Qualifications:

Paralegal certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role handling commercial real estate transactions Strong knowledge of Land Title and Survey Authority registration requirements (web-filing/LOTR) Experience with E-Conveyance and familiarity with LOTA filings an asset Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Discretion, sound judgment, and a commitment to confidentiality

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
