Who are we looking for?





We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our real estate team to support the management and expansion of our Nike store portfolio across Canada. In addition to Nike, our brand portfolio includes Mango, Fox Home, Laline and additional exciting international brands the Retailors brings to the North American market. This is a unique opportunity to grow within Retailors, a global retail leader, and receive hands-on experience in commercial real estate, negotiations, and international store expansion.



Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:







Manage and expand our real estate portfolio, playing a key role in the strategic development of Retailors' partnered Nike stores. Support in the negotiation and execution of commercial agreements on behalf of multiple brands, both in shopping malls and high street locations. Collaborate with international teams based in Melbourne, Amsterdam, Tel Aviv and Warsaw to align on and optimize real estate strategies and processes. Partner with store design, construction, finance, and retail operations to facilitate seamless store openings and business growth. Optimize and manage our lease contracts platform, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and efficiency in managing agreements. Conduct market research and analysis to strengthen decision-making for new store locations and expansions. Develop compelling presentations and business cases for project. Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and market partners to support long-term business success. Drive problem-solving and coordination efforts for store openings, working with internal and external stakeholders. Manage and expand Retailors' real estate portfolio, with a primary focus on Nike branded stores across Canada, ensuring strategic alignment with the company's commercial growth plans. Partner cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders including Finance, Legal, Store Design, Construction, Retail Operations, and Brand leadership to ensure fully integrated, compliant, and cost-effective store development. Maintain full governance and internal alignment on all real estate activities, ensuring consistent documentation, transparency, and approval processes for new sites, renewals, and relocations. Lead or support negotiations and execution of commercial lease agreements for shopping malls, high street, and outlet locations, ensuring favorable terms and minimizing risk. Ensure accuracy and governance of lease records in the company's real estate and contract management systems. Monitor and manage critical lease milestones and obligations (renewals, break options, rent escalations, etc.), flagging key actions to senior leadership in a timely manner. Coordinate with global real estate teams to ensure knowledge sharing and alignment with broader company initiatives. Conduct market research and location analysis to support new store proposals and expansion planning. Gain hands-on experience in the full store development lifecycle, from market assessment to grand opening, while leveraging our strategic partnership with Nike Inc. and landlords.



The ideal Candidates





At least 2 years of experience in commercial real estate / leasing. A proactive and ambitious individual eager to learn and develop new skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a solutions-oriented mindset. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast[1]paced environment. Ability to thrive under time pressure and complexity. Bachelor's degree in real estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a strong advantage Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial lease terms with landlords, developers, and institutional partners. Prior experience working in a multi-site retail environment or supporting a consumer[1]facing brand is considered an asset. Familiarity with lease management systems or tools is a plus. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a strong asset due to regional business needs. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Fluent in written and spoken English. (knowledge of French a plus) Willingness to broaden expertise beyond real estate, including retail operations and brand development.
