Romaya Law Corporation is a newly established firm in Vancouver, BC, looking for a

Real Estate Lawyer

to take the lead on both residential and commercial real estate files.

We're seeking a lawyer with

2-4 years of experience

in real estate law who can work

independently

, supervise support staff, and manage high-volume transactions with confidence and precision.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A COMISSION BASED ROLE

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and close residential and commercial real estate transactions from start to finish Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to purchases, sales, mortgages, and pre-construction agreements Conduct thorough legal research on BC real estate laws and regulations Review complex loan commitments and financing documents Attend closings and register transactions using Teraview Prepare and review reporting letters and closing documentation Supervise legal assistants and junior/senior clerks Maintain professional relationships with real estate agents, developers, lenders, and other stakeholders Handle a high volume of files while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail

What We're Looking For:

2-4 years of experience practicing real estate law, or a combination of 1-2 years as a Real Estate Clerk plus experience as a lawyer Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia Strong industry knowledge in both residential and commercial markets Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple files under pressure Experience with high-value transactions is a strong asset Proficiency with Teraview and other real estate software is required Connections within the real estate industry (agents, developers, lenders, etc.) are highly valued
