Real Estate Lawyer
to join our team! This role is ideal for a trusted, reliable professional who can take full ownership of files and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Role Summary
We are looking for a seasoned real estate lawyer who can independently manage files from beginning to end. This includes document preparation, client meetings, and final signings. The successful candidate must be polished, professional, and capable of conducting
in-person client meetings in the Orleans
area. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and comfort with a high degree of responsibility and independent decision-making. Experience in other areas of practice is a strong asset.
This is a transactional practice only -- no litigation work is involved.
Responsibilities
Handle residential
real estate purchase, sale, and refinance transactions
Meet clients in person for document signings and identification verifications
Maintain well-organized files and ensure compliance with best practices and LSO requirements
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, realtors, mortgage brokers, and institutional lenders
Utilize tools such as
Dropbox, Gmail, and Monday.com
to track and manage files
Ensure timely and accurate reporting and documentation
Qualifications
Law Society of Ontario license in good standing
Minimum 3 years' experience in Ontario real estate law
Proven ability to manage transactions
independently from intake to closing
High degree of
professionalism
in appearance, conduct, and communication
Strong organizational and time management skills
Must be located in
Ottawa
, preferably
Orleans
, and available for in-person signings
Comfortable using digital tools and cloud-based platforms
Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
Experience in other areas of practice is a strong asset.
