Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Reach truck Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to manage inventory, facilitate order picking, and ensure smooth warehouse operations. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to safety, and familiarity with warehouse management systems. The Forklift Operator plays a vital role in maintaining an organized and productive environment, supporting the overall distribution process.

Responsibilities

Safely operate various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and Dock stocker, to move materials within the warehouse Load and unload goods from trucks and storage areas with precision and care Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using warehouse management systems Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Assist in inventory management by accurately recording stock movements and updating system records Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed to support warehouse operations Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals

Requirements

Valid forklift certification with experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and dock stocker Experience with warehouse distribution processes and order picking procedures Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order processing and inventory tracking Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures at all times Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific equipment use if needed
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.05-$23.40 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
