Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care. We are a family friendly, general dentist owned dental clinic,10 minutes from St Albert.

Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently. Perform administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and managing patient inquiries. Collaborate with orthodontics or pediatrics teams when necessary to provide specialized care. all aspects required of an RDA
Experience
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome new Grad candidates eager to learn.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 28 per week
Work Location: In person
