Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting with a focus on providing care to all ages.

Duties

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, cleanings, and restorative treatments Take and develop dental radiographs using digital radiography Utilize an intra oral scanner for impressions as well as being able to take impressions without a scanner Manage patient records using Dentrix Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive practices

Skills

Proficiency with dental software including Dentrix Experience working with pediatric patients Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical environment Certification and experience in dental assisting is required

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
