We are seeking a highly motivated and verstile engineer to join our Research and Development Gan team in Ottowa Canada. In your new role you will:

Run the day-to-day operation of the physical characterization laboratory Develop, maintain, and improve procedures necessary for device analysis Maintain the functionality of laboratory equipment and ensure operationality through appropriate preventative maintenance and manage consumables Maintain laboratory safety procedure documents Work with corrosive chemical used to etch and remove materials Maintain an active catalog of results Take on a range of responsibilities and contribute to various aspects of the business

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of Materials Science, Physics or equivalent Bring know-how and hands-on experience with sample preparation for and operation of SEM/FIB Ideally have basic knowledge of semiconductor production processes Wideband Gap (WBP) exposure is preferred Interest in creative problem solving and knowledge sharing A flexible mindset and are a quick learner Efficient communication skills
