26 weeks of training occurs at our training facility in Regina (Saskatchewan)
RCMP police officers are posted where they are needed most: postings depend on operational needs and you must be prepared to serve anywhere in Canada.
The current cadet recruitment allowance is $525/week. The RCMP will also provide you with free room and board, uniforms, training courses, insurance and travel to and from Regina.

You must have a minimum of a Canadian secondary school (high school) diploma. If your education was obtained outside Canada, you must get an equivalency assessment. **Bilingual non-imperative is defined as a staffing procedure for a bilingual position allowing the consideration of applicants who meet all essential qualifications except for the requisite language skills. Successful applicants will have to complete language training in order to meet the language requirements of the bilingual position. **
You must be fluent in either English OR French, including being able to speak, write, read and understand either official language.
A person's first official language is the official language, English or French, with which he/she has a primary personal identification, regardless of ethnic origin or mother tongue. This is also the official language in which the person is more proficient.
