Overview

Our warehouse team in Mississauga is looking for an experienced Raymond Swing Reach Forklift Operator who prioritizes safety and accuracy in every task. In this role, you will operate Raymond Swing Reach (Turret) forklifts within very narrow aisle (VNA) configurations, handle high-rack inventory, and keep daily warehouse operations running smoothly. Success in this position depends on your precision, close attention to detail, and unwavering dedication to following safety protocols. You will be essential to preserving inventory accuracy, streamlining material flow, and upholding regulatory compliance throughout our facility.

Pay rate:

$22 per hour

Shift

: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Duties

Accurately maneuver forklifts through very narrow aisle (VNA) warehouse setups to optimize space usage and sustain productivity goals. Perform daily forklift inspections and strictly adhere to all company policies and safety standards to ensure operations remain safe and compliant. Maintain precise records by documenting and electronically logging inventory movements, cycle counts, and any discrepancies encountered. Operate Raymond Swing Reach forklifts to handle materials by placing, retrieving, and restocking inventory within dense racking configurations. Work closely with teams in inventory control, shipping and receiving, and production to maintain smooth workflow and avoid operational bottlenecks. Contribute to warehouse cleanliness, routine maintenance, and ongoing process improvements to foster an organized and efficient work environment. Efficiently load and unload shipments, including manual lifting of loads exceeding 30 pounds when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience operating Raymond Swing Reach (Turret) forklifts in very narrow aisle (VNA) warehouse environments. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, high-density racking systems, and warehouse management software (WMS). Strong understanding of safety procedures including daily equipment inspections and regulatory compliance. Ability to safely perform repetitive lifting and manual tasks, including handling loads over 30 pounds. Prior full-time experience in warehouse or logistics environments is beneficial but not mandatory; training is available for qualified candidates. Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory documentation and cycle counting. Experience collaborating with inventory control, shipping/receiving, and production teams to support efficient warehouse operations.
