Responsibilities
-Pre and post audit of customers freight bills
-Handling customer queries and disputes
-Auditing carrier partners freight bills for payment
-Liaising with A/R and CSR on invoice disputes, shipment reconsignments etc
-Receive and handle phone, faxed & email rate quotation requests
-Handling assessorial adjustment notifications from interline carriers
-Daily audit of unrated bills, short paid invoices and bills requiring corrections
-Liaising with the sales staff on different aspect of customer's requests and queries
-Sourcing Interline and Agent rates to combination points
-Manually coding and rating bills of ladings
-Manually applying cubes from cube sheets received from the terminals
-Handling notifications re pending adjustments from other Terminals
Assets
-1-2 years' experience working in a similar role
-Open to an associate in administration that is familiar with the concept of rates
-Experience working in the transportation industry
-Excellent written and communication skills
-Strong analytical and mathematical skills
-Multi-tasking is very essential
-Excellent customer service skills
-Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
