We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking mixed farm/Ranch Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the ranch's operations, ensuring the well-being of livestock, and supporting various agricultural tasks. This position requires a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate farm machinery and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the ranch facilities. Operate and perform routine maintenance on farm machinery and heavy equipment. Assist in the care of livestock, including feeding, watering, and monitoring health. Manage garden areas by planting, irrigating, and maintaining crops as needed. Utilize power tools and hand tools for various tasks around the ranch. Perform heavy lifting as required for moving feed, supplies, or equipment. Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of crops and gardens. Conduct basic math calculations for inventory management and feed measurements. Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

Proven experience in ranching or agricultural work is preferred but not mandatory. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively. Experience with power tools and hand tools is essential. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic math skills for managing supplies and inventory accurately. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn are critical for success in this role.
