Load and unload baggage, cargo, mail and commissary, whether palletized, containerized and/or bulk loaded, and conveyance of same to or from designated areas.
Service water and lavatory systems of all aircraft,
After the training from the company, operate safely and efficiently, all types of equipment and vehicles used in the handling and servicing of aircraft, etc.
After the training from the company, perform on Ground Support Equipment upkeep as required; fueling of equipment, charging of equipment, returning to proper location etc.
Perform wing walking/marshalling to ensure safe aircraft movement on the ramp.
Assist with aircraft pushback operations in accordance with safety procedures.
Must be physically able to perform the job's essential duties, including standing, lifting, bending, stooping, walking, crawling, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
Work outside in all types of weather and around jet machinery noises.
Push, pull, lift, and load up to 70 pounds (32kg) regularly.
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
Previous experience in the aviation industry or in a similar role is preferred.
Class 5 driver's license (Class 5 GDL is accepted), clean Drivers abstract.
Able to secure an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit ( AVOP).
Able to secure Transport Canada RAIC.
Ability to lift 70 lbs independently.
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Highly motivated and able to work well independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Able to multi-task and establish priorities in a dynamic and changing environment.
Able to work effectively in a team environment.
Able to work flexible work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
