Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Interprets job work orders and follows blueprints / schematics to perform required repairs Utilizes basic mechanical skills and builds knowledge of machines and tools to weld, cut and gouge Notifies of any materials and/or equipment required to ensure completion of job tasks Follows all safety rules, keeps work area clean and complies with all ARS Environmental Health and Safety Policies Ensures AAR, ARS and customer quality assurance standards are met Completes any other duties as assigned in order to complete the task

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Welding and repair experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available This is a safety-sensitive position. Successful candidates may be required to undergo drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy and applicable Canadian laws. Subject to successful completion of pre-employment screening, including background check where permitted by law. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
