Job Requirements
Licences:
Appropriate licence to meet requirements to operate the machine.
Flexibility:
Ability and willingness to travel to remote work locations as needed in all weather conditions.
Shift Availability:
Be prepared to work all shifts.
Valid Full Driver's License:
At minimum, you'll need a valid Class 5 driver's license (non-GDL) or Class G at minimum plus a clean drivers abstract to operate company vehicles.
Metatarsal Work Boots:
Willingness to invest in 8-inch metatarsal work boots (not basic work boots) for safety. Boot allowance provided after minimum hours met.
Fit-For-Duty:
Pass criminal record check, and drug and fitness screening, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
ERailSafe badge:
Pass all required eRail badge training and testing, including background check.
CROR
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Minimum one season of specified machine operation on the railroad.
Demonstrable proficiency in all aspects of machine operation and maintenance.
Ability to provide general labour when not operating.
Safety focus and awareness at all times.
