Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, The Radiological Technologist is responsible for the delivery of patient centered care while operating radiological/accessory equipment with minimal supervision, while exercising independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative. The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures requiring the use of ionizing radiation, applying the ALARA principle, while continuously remaining responsive to and responsible for each patient in their care. The Radiological Technologist is responsible for effective communication in a multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary environment while fostering a culture of safety in the workplace.The majority of shifts for this position will be on the Mobile Mammography Unit with the Nova Scotia Breast Screening.
