. The successful candidate will perform high-quality MRI scans, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging standards in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
MRI scans
on patients using advanced MRI systems (1.5T / 3T) in accordance with departmental protocols.
Conduct
patient screening
for MRI safety (contraindications, implants, claustrophobia management).
Position patients correctly and optimize scan parameters to produce diagnostic-quality images..
Operate and perform
daily QA/QC checks
on MRI equipment; report faults promptly.
Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and assist in protocol development.
Maintain accurate patient records in
PACS/RIS
systems.
Provide clear instructions and emotional support to anxious patients.
Adhere to
radiation safety (though minimal in MRI), infection control, and HK regulatory standards
.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Radiography
(Diagnostic) or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in MRI scanning
(clinical or hospital setting).
Strong command of
English and Cantonese
; Mandarin is an advantage.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced MRI training (e.g., cardiac, neuro, musculoskeletal imaging).
Experience in
private hospital or large imaging center
settings.
Familiarity with
ISO/HKPC accreditation standards
