About this opportunity:





As a Radio Systems Co-op, you will help design and systemize how Ericsson radio products behave by translating market and technical requirements into clear functional specifications. You will work with both HW and SW development teams to ensure the radio system works correctly across key areas such.


You will support the creation and updating of essential product documentation.


You will collaborate closely with cross?functional teams in Systems, Software, Hardware, Test, and Project Management to contribute to high?quality deliverables such as Network Design Specifications (NDS) and functional input to project artifacts.


This role is ideal for early?career engineers who want to grow their knowledge of wireless systems, radio products, system design, and secure product development.

What you will do:





Support systemization activities by helping break down market and program requirements into clear HW/SW design inputs. Learn how radio functions are architected and assist senior developers with requirement refinement. Documentation Ownership (Entry?Level) Assist in creating or updating FS, FD, IWDs, interface descriptions, and parameter documentation. Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and traceable under the guidance of senior team members. Support integration and verification teams by clarifying functional behavior, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria. Gain familiarity with Ericsson's secure development and product security frameworks. Your role is to help ensure that functional designs include security considerations and follow secure?by?design principles. Engage in improving ways of working within the team. Learn from senior engineers and gradually contribute to standardization of systemization practices.

The skills you bring:





Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Basic understanding of radio systems, wireless communication concepts, or digital signal processing (coursework or internship experience is acceptable). Familiarity with fundamental software/hardware architecture concepts. Interest in learning about Radio Access Networks (RAN). How radio hardware communicates with the Digital Unit (DU), sometimes referred to as the Baseband (BB). Exposure (through school, projects, or internships) to systems engineering concepts such as requirement analysis or functional documentation. Exposure to radio security concepts or resilience mechanisms. Interest or familiarity with open interface standards. Awareness of cybersecurity standards

The salary range for this position is

* Bachelor's: $25.50-$34.50 CAD per hour
