Your Opportunity:In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.Description:As a Radiation Therapist II, you will be responsible for the organization and quality of work within your assigned Radiation Oncology Department. You will be responsible for the supervision of Radiation Therapist I's, coaching staff and students, and orientating new staff. You will ensure your team of therapists deliver accurate and precise treatment as well as ensuring Quality Assurance procedures are carried out. You will monitor the performance of equipment/machines and document and report any problems.

Required Qualifications:Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy in Canada or an accredited non-Canadian program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologies (ACMDTT) Additional Required Qualifications:Must be able to perform all duties of the job including lifting and moving. Basic Life Support (BLS). At least 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
