Position Summary:



The RAAM Nursing Practice Lead will lead and support the nursing team across multiple sites delivering Rapid Access Addictions Medicine (RAAM) services. This role combines clinical oversight, operational leadership, policy development, quality assurance, staff training and onboarding, and stakeholder engagement. The Lead ensures best nursing practices, supports a trauma-informed, harm reduction approach, and helps raise awareness and integration of RAAM in the region. The Lead acts as a clinical and operational resource for staff and reports to the Senior Director, Clinical Services. The position's home office will be located in Belleville but will require regular travel throughout Hastings Prince Edward.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:



Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) 5-7 years' experience as a registered nurse Enhanced nursing education (e.g., specialty certification, postgraduate training) is preferred Minimum 2 years' leadership and/or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is required Prior experience in mental health, addictions, or community health is required Experience with program development, evaluation, or grant-funded programming is considered an asset Experience with community partnerships, outreach, or education initiatives is considered an asset Experience working with marginalized populations is an asset Understanding of anti-oppression and anti-racism framework Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, substance use, and co-occurring disorders Demonstrated ability to develop policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality improvement initiatives Familiarity with electronic health records, data collection, and analysis is considered an asset Excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities Ability and willingness to travel regularly among sites throughout Hastings Prince Edward (Belleville, Quinte West, Bancroft, Picton, etc.) Must possess a valid Ontario Driver's License, have regular access to a reliable vehicle, provide proof of adequate vehicle insurance, and a clear driver's abstract Required to provide a satisfactory criminal record check (CRC) and Vulnerable Sector prior to hire
