Job Summary

We are seeking a disciplined and versatile children's program coach to our Junior Athletes programming in both Dance and Pickleball. This role requires an individual who can transition seamlessly between technical athletic instruction and creative movement, ensuring all sessions are high-energy, structured, and skill-focused. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining group control, delivering age-appropriate drills, and fostering a professional environment for children to develop foundational coordination and sportsmanship.

Shift Schedule

Tuesdays:

16:45 - 19:15 (Mandatory)

Saturdays:

Occasional shifts as required by the program calendar

Duties and Responsibilities

Instructional Delivery:

Lead focused sessions in Dance and Pickleball, prioritizing technical fundamentals and skill progression.

Class Management:

Maintain order and safety for groups of children, ensuring high engagement and adherence to program rules.

Logistics & Setup:

Efficiently manage equipment setup and teardown within the designated shift times.

Reporting:

Monitor participant progress and communicate effectively with parents and management regarding any incidents or successes.

Qualifications

Expertise:

Documented experience or high proficiency in both Dance and Pickleball instruction.

Experience:

Minimum 1 year coaching or teaching children in a structured environment.

Logistics:

Ability to commute reliably for the 16:45 start time; flexibility for Saturday sessions.

Certifications:

Valid First Aid/CPR certification and a cleared background check (Vulnerable Sector Screen).

Attributes:

Clear, concise communication style and the ability to command a room without excessive oversight.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 6 per week
