Quick Lube/ Tire Technician

Grande Prairie Subaru is an AutoCanada dealership. We are looking for a Lube/ Tire Technician to join our growing team! You will play a crucial role in terms of quickly and efficiently performing routine maintenance on our customer's vehicles. The Lube Technician is responsible for inspecting and lubricating customer's vehicles in accordance with policies and procedures as set forth by the Service Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Performs Oil & filter changes.
• Sells lubrication, safety inspection and other related services.
• Maintains records on regular customers, following up periodically with telephone, mail, or personal reminders.
• Perform complete multi-point inspection on vehicle & check & mark all required items on check list as required & present findings to the Service Advisor.
• Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil.
• Tire mounting/balancing, rotations, and repairs.
• Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Documents all work performed on the repair order.
• Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by service manager.
• Reports any safety issues immediately to management.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
• Automotive knowledge, certified training and experience is considered an asset.
• Familiarity working with ADP and CDK programs is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Efficient problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and using to use power and hand-held equipment.
