Assistant Manager
for our
Regina, Saskatchewan
location.
The Assistant Manager supports daily retail and inventory operations by overseeing staff scheduling, maintaining strong floor presence, assisting with inventory control, and managing purchase orders and stock receiving. This role ensures smooth operational flow and high standards of customer service and compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
Staff Scheduling
Prepare and adjust weekly staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
Coordinate with team members regarding availability and shift changes.
Floor Presence & Customer Support
Act as a visible leader on the sales floor, supporting staff and engaging with customers.
Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve in-the-moment issues or questions.
Inventory Control Assistance
Support Inventory Manager with regular stock counts and reconciliations.
Help identify and report stock discrepancies or issues.
Receiving & Stock Management
Receive and verify incoming stock against purchase orders.
Organize and stock products in backroom and sales areas.
Purchase Orders (POs)
Issue POs once vendor quotes are approved.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Operational Support
Assist with training, store opening/closing, and ensure strict adherence to SLGA compliance and ID verification protocols by all team members.
