Nelson Aggregates is searching for an an experienced, ambitious and dedicated

Quarry Manager

to oversee our quarry operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient extraction of materials while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of quarry management processes.

The successful applicant needs to meet the following;

have sound technical knowledge of aggregate, concrete or construction produces and practices required have 3 to 5 years related experience in a leadership capacity industry related experience an asset leadership in health and safety promoting a safe working environment demonstrated computer software skills, track data and be able to produce documents and reports as required be team orientated with strong interpersonal skills be able to multi-task and deal with changing priorities daily Analysis and Problem-Solving skills - Analyze issues and problems to make sound decisions on daily activities Leads for Performance - Demonstrate and foster a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals Manages Execution - Ensure that work is completed to achieve the goals efficiently, effectively and according to Group Standards Communications - Listen and share information clearly and concisely to maintain an environment in which people communicate honestly and openly Develops Employees by Providing honest, helpful feedback, real-time coaching and useful suggestions to others Cultivates Relationships and Networks - Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with others in a friendly and respectful manner
