Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Quarry Manager to oversee our quarry operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the extraction of materials, ensuring safety compliance, and leading a team. This role requires a strong understanding of quarry processes, equipment management, and the ability to implement effective operational strategies.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the quarry, ensuring efficient extraction and processing of materials. Oversee staff management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards to maintain a safe working environment. Develop and implement operational plans to optimize production and reduce costs. Monitor equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics and supply chain activities. Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and equipment usage. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.

Skills

Proficient in operating forklifts and other heavy machinery used in quarry operations. Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques and their application in quarrying processes. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues effectively. Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred but not required. Valid commercial driving license is a plus for transportation needs within the site. Ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to foster a collaborative work environment.

Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
