Summary

This is a multi-skilled position in which the employee will be performing physical labour.

Typical hours of work are Monday to Friday 6AM-6PM, with overtime on occasion as needed.

Note:

This position is based out of the quarry in Stonewall, Manitoba. The successful candidate must be willing to travel daily to and from site.

Duties and Responsibilities

Shovel and rake aggregate materials Help fellow workers with their duties on Crushing Plant or around the quarry Operate small equipment and tools. (Training will be provided as necessary) Operate loader and rock truck, as needed Ensure work site is organized and free of clutter, rubble, and garbage Perform miscellaneous activities throughout the day, as directed

Job Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older Class 5 drivers license, and means of transportation to and from jobsite Must be physically fit and able to do manual labour Willing and able to work long hours in inclement weather Must be a team player, reliable and organized Experience operating heavy equipment would be an asset Familiar with construction methods, tools, and materials an asset Timeliness is essential for success in this position
