to design, prototype, and implement quantum and hybrid algorithms on the Super Platform - our AI-driven supercomputing environment integrating GPU, quantum and parallel computing. The successful candidate will also contribute to improving the platform's core architecture and performance.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement quantum and hybrid algorithms (e.g., annealing, gate-model, hybrid quantum-classical) for optimization, simulation, and ML applications.
Work closely with the engineering team to integrate these algorithms into the Super Platform's hybrid solver architecture.
Benchmark algorithmic performance across quantum annealing, gate-based quantum, and classical solvers.
Contribute to the core platform build: improve quantum-classical orchestration, performance tuning, and deployment pipelines.
Collaborate with domain leads (e.g., healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, finance) to tailor algorithm modules for industry-specific problem statements.
Produce reproducible notebooks, performance dashboards, automated test suites, and documentation for algorithm modules.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in quantum computing, scientific computing, optimization or a closely related field.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical/Computer Engineering (or equivalent); Master's strongly preferred.
Proficiency in one or more quantum SDKs: for example Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, AWS Braket or equivalent.
Strong programming skills: Python required; experience with libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and quantum-specific frameworks.
Solid mathematical foundations: linear algebra, graph theory, optimization (QUBO, Ising-models, MILP).
Experience in hybrid quantum-classical workflows, performance benchmarking and algorithmic optimisation.
Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus: experience with GPU-acceleration (CUDA-Q), quantum hardware exposure, cloud quantum services, open-source contributions or published work in quantum computing.
: you will sit at the intersection of cutting-edge quantum methods and real-world systems.
Flat organisation, open communication: bring ideas, experiment, iterate.
Ownership mindset: you will own modules end-to-end, from prototype to production.
Strong emphasis on
learning
,
curiosity
, and
innovation
- we expect you to push boundaries and help build the future of computing.
Global & diverse team: though based in Canada, you'll work across time zones collaborating with UAE, US, Europe.
Focus on work-life balance: flexible hours, remote-friendly, and inclusive of personal commitments.
