Job Description

Our ProTemp Glass Inc. facility is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product and service quality through continuous improvement, process control, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

Support operational functions and drive best practices in quality and process control Conduct regular process and product audits Participate in external audits and product testing Prepare and maintain QMS documentation (instructions, alerts, procedures) Lead and track corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution Analyze and report data trends Provide technical and customer support Develop and implement solutions to operational challenges Maintain quality communication tools and boards Assist in training and educating team members Perform internal calibrations and coordinate external ones Attend production meetings and contribute to quality discussions Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

2-3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment (ISO, TS certified preferred) College or university education preferred Familiarity with Lean, 5S, 8D, SPC, PPAP, FMEA methodologies Internal auditor certification is an asset Proficient with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong customer service orientation
