We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves conducting quality inspections, performing data collection, and analyzing results to maintain and improve quality management processes. The Quality Technician will work closely with production teams to support quality assurance initiatives and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Duties
Conduct thorough quality inspections of products at various stages of the manufacturing process.
Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers to assess product specifications and tolerances.
Analyze inspection data and compile reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions for quality issues.
Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and findings.
Assist in the development and refinement of quality assurance protocols and procedures.
Support training initiatives related to quality management practices among staff members.
Participate in internal audits and assist in preparing for external audits.
Requirements
Proven experience in quality inspection, quality control (QA/QC), or a related field is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
Experience in Solidworks to design 3D components an asset.
Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies.
Proficient in using measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and collaboration.
