Garibaldi Glass is looking for a driven, strategy oriented and resilient Quality Systems Manager. Position Overview

Reporting to the Executive Leadership team, the Quality Systems Manager is responsible for leading in the deployment of the company\xe2\x80\x99s vision and strategy by developing, monitoring, sustaining, and executing our quality management system, process, and standards. Contribute to the creation of the company\xe2\x80\x99s vision and quality strategy and ensure its deployment throughout the company\xe2\x80\x99s processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the Management Systems strategy, demonstrating solid progress against plan.
  • Train, coach and follow up with all major process leaders in documenting their processes, procedures, control steps and criteria, as well as KPIs and targets in line with the company\xe2\x80\x99s direction.
  • Design, implementation, and audit of training program with key stake holders.
  • Regulate, Control, and improve the quality of all processes throughout the business. Lead the team to achieve quality management system targets.
  • Define the document control procedure, aiming to ensure all documentation is up to date, is properly communicated and all relevant staff have been trained on updates.
  • Define and monitor KPI\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Manage the audit program, ensuring compliance to regulatory bodies, as well as process sustainability. Undertake regular internal process audits of the QMS
  • Facilitate integration of other business aspects within the QMS, such as Safety, environment, efficiency \xe2\x80\x93 Total Quality Management mindset (TQM).
  • Evaluate Job Site quality concerns against internal standards. Educate external customers on quality standards.
  • Technical writing regarding quality findings
  • Participate in Continues Improvement Training and utilize tools for improvements.
  • Required to travel to external customer sites for inspections and compliance
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Training)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within a Manufacturing environment in a similar capacity
  • Experience leading large / complex projects and implementing the ISO 9001 or similar quality standard.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in: Lean, Six\xe2\x80\x93Sigma, Process Approach Mapping, Project Management Practices and Data Analysis.
  • ASQ certification is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft SharePoint software is an asset.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering is required.
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree considered an asset.
  • Experience in developing and controlling KPI\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Experience leading, managing, and mentoring a team.
  • Experience operating within a complex and dynamic environment.

  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively while maintaining flexibility

  • Knowledge and continuously learning and growing personal knowledge of industry trends
  • Must be accessible outside normal business hours, as required
  • High attention to detail and focused on process improvement
