background.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop advanced
CMM programs
for new and existing parts, integrating GD&T principles and customer specifications.
Lead and maintain
Control Plans, PFMEAs, and PPAP documentation
.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams during new product introductions.
Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
Generate and present detailed quality reports, trends, and improvement recommendations.
Support and lead internal audits, ensuring compliance with
IATF 16949, ISO 9001
, and customer-specific standards.
Provide quality input during design reviews and manufacturing changes.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements using inspection and testing data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
At least
5 years of quality engineering experience
, ideally in automotive or high-volume manufacturing.
Advanced skills in
CMM programming
and quality software tools.
Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and quality system standards.
Familiar with APQP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC methodologies.
Proficient with MS Office and quality data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
