What to Expect:



As a member of the quality team, the

Quality System Specialist

is responsible for all aspects of quality functions in line with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company policy. The Quality Systems Specialist's main responsibility is managing technical specifications for products under various projects, ensuring they align with project requirements, Nestle standards, and applicable regulations. This role involves researching appropriate testing, editing specifications, and at times provides support for creating new specifications. They also maintain master specifications to ensure consistency across projects.

A day in the life of a

Quality System Specialist



Action and update product specifications based on: Change Controls (products, materials, suppliers, components, etc.), changes based on investigation findings, regulatory changes Maintain specification reviews and updates as needed Provide support for product launch tasks and specification review for Canadian compliance Update policies and procedures (SOPs), work instructions as needed, meeting regulatory requirements Provide support for product review, investigations and applicable changes for product dispositions Review product costing with CoMan's to support Full Turn Key (FTK) Raw material specification review to support product setup to meet Canadian compliance Provide support to Quality team for system, process changes relating to new and ongoing projects Provide support for product review for dispositions and investigations Review to finalize IMS PB for internally supplied products Report and finalize applicable KPI to summarize progress


Role Requirements

3-5 Years of experience in product related activities (review, releases, investigations, change management) and Quality related functions, in medical, pharmaceutical, consumer products, food or supplement industries Working knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices/ Natural Health Products industry regulations Functionally deliver business results
