We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of
Quality Manufacturing Engineering
. The role of Quality Manufacturing Engineering reports to the Quality Manager. Liburdi Dimetrics Corporation offers competitive wages. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
Perform root cause analysis and lead corrective/preventive actions for product or process non-conformances
Support manufacturing operations through process capability studies, control plans, and continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct internal and supplier audits to verify adherence to customer-specific quality standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Maintain and update quality documentation and inspection criteria
Analyze quality metrics and provide regular reports and recommendations to management
Participate in external audits from customers and regulatory agencies
Key Skill Requirements:
Strong knowledge of quality systems and root cause analysis methodologies
Experience interpreting engineering drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Proficiency in using MS Excel, MS Word, and other quality tools and software such as ERP
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence across departments
Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
Flexibility to work on tasks in parallel and adapt when priorities change
Ability to develop written procedures and instructions in collaboration with manufacturing and QA requirements
Key Experience/Education:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Quality, or related Engineering field
5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing quality engineering role
Experience working in a regulated or standards-based environment. Typical standards are ISO 9001, CSA N299, CSA B51 and CSA N285
Experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code considered an asset
CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or related certification considered an asset
Audit experience / training considered an asset
