Tony Stacey Centre for Veterans Care is a 100-bed long-term care home dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents in partnership with UniversalCare Canada Inc., our family members, valued employees, and community partners.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:


-Plans, coordinates, directs and monitors the effectiveness of all operational and quality improvement activities.
-Leads and supports initiatives to continuously improve resident and employee satisfaction.
-Ensures quality risk management activities are developed, implemented, and maintained.
-Conducts quarterly audits to ensure quality risk management activities are appropriately implemented.
-Analyzes the data and creates action plans to address identified areas of improvement.
-Reports quality metrics and analyzes the data for trends and opportunities for improvement.
-Provides education and training with respect to quality risk management.
-Chairs the Quality Council meeting on a quarterly basis.
-Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team with respect to quality risk management.
-Ensures compliance with organizational standards, the collective agreement, as applicable and all relevant regulations, and/or legislative requirements and strategic initiatives.
-Participates in multi-disciplinary care conferences, the strategic planning process, committees and other meetings, maintains an organized system of records management.
-Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


-A post-secondary degree from a program that is a minimum of 3 years in duration or a post-secondary diploma in health or social services from a program that is a minimum of 2 years in length.
-3 years working experience in a supervisory capacity in the health or social services sector, preferably in a long-term care setting.
-Must have successfully completed a program in long-term care home administration or management that is a minimum of 100 hours in duration of instruction time.
-Sound knowledge of the Fixing Long-Term Care Homes Act 2021, Ontario Regulations 246/10.
-Excellent leadership, oral and written communication skills, and strong relationship building abilities.
-Proficiency with computerized documentation systems.
-Satisfactory vulnerable sector check and TB test.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $83,000.00-$124,000.00 per hour
