QUALITY MANAGER (F/M/D)
Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the daily activities of the quality team, including direct supervision of two technicians.
Ensure continuity of the quality system, promotes continuous improvement, and supports OpEx initiatives.
Leading and participating in internal audits, customer audits, and certification audits
Managing and maintaining the quality management system, including FSSC 22000 and other certifications (Kosher, Halal, etc.)
Ensuring compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and customer-specific requirements.
Overseeing the handling of customer inquiries and complaints, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
Supporting raw material approvals and supplier evaluations as part of the supplier management program
Leading quality-related communication across departments and representing the quality function in cross-functional meetings
Monitoring and reporting on quality performance metrics and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Managing relationships with regulatory authorities and supporting other CAPOL entities on Canadian regulatory matters.
Qualifications
With a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, you will bring valuable expertise to the team.
A degree in food science or a related field will be considered an asset.
Your proficiency in both English and French (oral and written) is essential, as a portion of the interview process will be conducted in English.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is necessary for effective performance in this role.
Knowledge of SAP is a major asset, contributing to our operational efficiency.
Your strong leadership and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively manage and lead your team.
You should demonstrate strong decision-making skills, exercising sound judgment on quality matters.
Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
