Job Description

The Quality Management and Learning Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of MEMS' Quality Management System (QMS) and Learning Management System (LMS). This role ensures operational excellence by managing daily quality and learning activities, driving governance practices, and fostering knowledge-sharing across the organization. This individual will thrive in a collaborative, detail-oriented, and fast-paced consulting environment and must be comfortable communicating with diverse internal stakeholders. This position requires an office-focused position.


Key Responsibilities:




Quality Management System (QMS)




Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the QMS in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Recommend and implement updates to the QMS, including new or revised policies, procedures, and work instructions. Instruct employees and new hires on quality policies, corporate quality procedures and Develop and maintain quality documentation, including policies, manuals, workflows, and statistical reports. Document process flows and business requirements to support system integration and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities related to quality Triage quality occurrence reporting, and direct into correct This may include leading investigations into minor non-conformances, track findings and follow-up actions. Participate in internal audits, quality reviews and assist in developing and overseeing actions plans to meet quality objectives and compliance targets. Work with service groups and other departments to ensure their quality related objectives and technical procedures (or other documentation) are being developed and meeting corporate Ensure that there is a record maintenance system in place for all records relating to matters of quality for MEMS. Maintain records using appropriate records retention guidelines and

Learning Management System (LMS)




Support the administration and continuous improvement of the LMS (UKG Pro Learning), including user setup, course configuration, reporting dashboards, and learner Contribute to the design and implementation of knowledge management processes and frameworks that support content governance and consistent application of best Assist in developing procedures, tools, and templates to support knowledge capture and Manage day-to-day LMS operations: enrollments, scheduling, logistics, technical support, and user training. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure LMS content is current, accurate, and aligned with learning objectives and corporate strategy. Link training programs to project knowledge, lessons learned, and subject matter expert Provide regular progress updates, including metrics, risk identification, and improvement opportunities related to learning and knowledge management. Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends in learning and knowledge management to apply innovative, practical solutions. Perform other related duties as required.

What You Bring:




Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Learning & Development, Business Administration). Experience in a consulting or professional service firm considered an asset. Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and experience with audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes. Experience with learning management systems and adult learning principles Valid, non-GDL Class 5 driver's license

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build relationships across departments and with staff at all levels. Proven ability to deliver high-quality service in a consultative, fast-paced Highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Skilled in producing clear, audience-specific content that supports training, compliance, and internal communications. Strong analytical thinking with experience in process mapping and workflow Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Planner, and database Familiarity with UKG Pro Learning or other related LMS Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and continuous

Working Conditions:




Office environment that requires sitting for extended periods of Prolonged exposure to computer keyboards and computer Manual dexterity required to use desktop and/or laptop computer and Sometimes requires long hours of Occasional interruptions outside work hours and travel to other locations are required. May be required to walk, stand, climb, bend forward, kneel down, crawl, reach and grasp, push and pull objects, lift and/or move up to 30 kg, sometimes over the shoulders, repetitive bending and lifting of items, along with repetitive arm movements.
