General :
The Quality Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring that all materials and products meet the company's quality standards. This position is responsible for inspecting and verifying incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. The Quality Inspector also maintains accurate records, identifies quality issues, and collaborates with production and quality teams to resolve problems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform visual inspections of outsourced materials, in-process components, and finished goods against established specifications and standards.
Conduct routine quality checks at various production stages to ensure consistency and adherence to quality requirements.
Review prepress proofs for content accuracy and confirm customer specifications and approved references are correctly represented.
Document and sign off content proofing results in line with established procedures.
Identify non-conforming products and initiate corrective actions in coordination with the Quality team.
Assist investigating and responding to quality concerns raised by clients, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
Accurately record inspection results in quality application within Salesforce platform.
Maintain clear and organized documentation of inspections, test results, and any deviations from standards.
Prepare and distribute quality reports to the relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
Communicate findings and recommendations to supervisors and team members to prevent recurring issues.
Create tools for use in production to streamline processes and enhance quality.
Develop internal and external mocked-up samples to support production and client needs.
Assist in the creation and execution of larger production mockups for Sales and client presentations.
Support internal and external quality audits by providing necessary documentation and inspection records.
Hold and distribute quality-approved finished products to various departments, ensuring proper documentation and accountability.
Participate in root cause analysis and recommend improvements to prevent non-conformance.
Assist in updating and maintaining inspection procedures and work instructions.
Support quality training initiatives for production teams to enhance understanding of quality standards and expectations.
Skills Required:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections.
Proficiency in using measurement tools and understanding technical specifications.
Basic computer skills, including experience with Salesforce Platform and Microsoft Office applications.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Education Training and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or manufacturing environment preferred.
Certification in Quality Control or Assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) is an advantage but not required.
