We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Inspector to join our paint and coating team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our production processes. This position involves overseeing quality management systems, conducting detailed inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Senior QA Inspector will lead efforts in quality control, data collection, and analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold product integrity.
Duties
Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision tools such as holiday tester and other measurement devices to verify product specifications.
Lead quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
Perform detailed analysis of inspection data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for process improvement.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results, non-conformance reports, and audit documentation for compliance purposes.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
Develop and review quality management procedures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and internal policies.
Train and mentor junior inspectors on inspection techniques, quality standards, and proper use of measurement tools.
Participate in internal audits and support external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
Qualifications
Proven experience in quality management within a painting and coating environment, with a strong understanding of QA/QC processes.
Expertise in quality inspection techniques, including the use of holiday tester, paint mill tester and other precision measurement tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and make informed decisions.
Knowledge of industry standards related to quality control and assurance.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple inspection tasks efficiently.
Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with data collection systems and software used for quality analysis is preferred.
